Stage Racer 2 handles a wide range of signals without the need for external adapters, with internal routing, distribution, and processing capabilities, including audio embedding/de-embedding, shuffling, SRC, and more. It’s available in two configurations—12 or 24 SDI channels—with both supporting
SD to 12G signals, Genlock, analog and digital audio, Ethernet, and data transmission. The system is easily controlled via an intuitive web interface or integrated with automation systems like Cerebrum or VSM.
Telecast Python 8-Way 4K
The Python 3G is your answer to lowering the cost of digital video distribution, simplifying your cable plant and eliminating all concerns about distance, interference and grounding. The Python 3G converts up to 2 groups of 8-channels of HD-SDI to fiber optic transport, all in a compact 1RU frame.
Select a transmitter and a receiver frame for eight or sixteen channels, for example, in one direction. Select two transceiver frames for eight channels in each direction. In addition, Python 3G uses CWDM optical multiplexing options to carry up to 16 HD signals on a single optical fiber. The Python 3G supports digital video transport from 19.4 Mbps to 3 Gbps, handling DVB/ASI signals and standards like SMPTE 292M, 259M, and 424M. It equalizes coaxial inputs up to 3 Gbps. Immune to pathological data errors, ensuring reliable broadcast performance.
SilverBullet 12G SDI
The SilverBullets are compact SDI signal transporters (5 Mb/sec to 12 Gb/sec) over single-mode or multimode fiber. Despite their size, they’re built tough with diecast aluminum casing, standard BNC and ST connectors, and secure power via a locking 4-pin mini-XLR (5-16 VDC). They offer long-distance capability up to 25 km with -6 dBm launch power and CWDM options for multiplexing. LED indicators assist with power and optical troubleshooting, and the receiver doubles as an optical power meter. Ideal for broadcast applications requiring quick, reliable signal transport.
Telecast Rattler 4K
The Telecast Series' Rattler 4 modules from Grass Valley deliver reliable fiber optic serial digital video transmission for a wide range of digital rates, from 19.4 Mb/s to 3 Gb/s. These compact, portable devices support industry-standard formats, reclocking internally at 270 Mb/s, 1.5 Gb/s, and 3 Gb/s, and can transmit over distances up to 50 km (31 miles). With 18 CWDM wavelengths available, they also support embedded audio and are powered by 5-16 VDC, making them versatile for various broadcast environments.
